Stick around to read my assessment of this product.  You’ll learn about the unique construction and cooling technology that makes this design one of a kind.

Construction

Layers

Brentwood Home Bamboo Mattress

The design contains two layers. The top layer is 2.5” thick and made from Coolflow memory foam. This helps to pull in cool air and force out hot air. The bottom layer of the product is 7.5” thick and made from high density core layer foam. This bottom layer provides plenty of support, especially for stomach and back sleepers.

Cover

The top cover is made from cotton. It’s removable and machine washable. One unique bonus of the cover is that it’s antimicrobial and hypoallergenic. It also inhibits dust mites, mold, mildew, and odors.

First Impression & Overnight Test (Firmness, Feel, & Support)

When first laying down on this product  I was worried it was too firm. But once I got comfortable and relaxed, I noticed how the top layer seemed to be cradling every curve of my body. It was comforting without being overwhelming as I didn’t feel myself sinking too far into the bed.

I found the support  to be strong but some might find it to be overwhelming, especially if you weigh under 150 pounds. Side sleepers might also find this design to be too firm but as a back sleeper, I found it to be perfect. Overall, my first night with the product was comfortable, supportive, and most importantly, cool in temperature throughout the entire evening.

Who Should Buy this Product?

If you love memory foam but hate how they can trap heat and leave you feeling like you’re sleeping in the middle of a desert, this product was designed especially for you. With a unique cooling layer, body heat is able to escape the bed and leave you feeling comfortable in more ways than one. It is ideal for back and stomach sleepers with its medium firm level. Side sleepers might find the design to be a bit too firm for their liking.

Key Features

The most impressive key feature  is the cooling top layer that provides sleepers with a comfortable night’s rest no matter the temperature. The cover  also inhibits dust mites, mold, mildew, and odor and also provides the ideal combination of comfort and support that’s expected from foam.

How Does It Compare?

Let’s take a look at some of the competition:

While all of these options are great, the product I trial tested combines all of the best features of these other designs into one superior model. It cools, relieves pressure and pain, and ensures a healthy sleeping environment with the antimicrobial cover.

Verdict

Overall, this product provides supreme comfort, even with a simple two-layer design. The hypo-allergenic feature is a plus and the removable cover ensures cleanliness and prevents odors. The affordable price and excellent warranty makes it a great option for anyone looking for a foam design that’s medium in firmness and provides excellent support. Another important point to keep in mind is that the product has consistently received praise for its cooling technology. Sleeping on this surface will keep you comfortable, cool, and well-rested.
