The Ultimate Nectar Mattress Review

The Ultimate Nectar Mattress Review

The Nectar mattress has been a leading mattress in the European market for some time now. It has only recently been introduced to the United States and the reception has been impressive. What grabbed my attention regarding this product was the knowledge that I had to complete a report of my own because There is an  unbelievable 365-night trial period. No one else offers that kind of a trial window. There’s also a lifetime guarantee on the product. The company markets their brand as not just the best design you’ll ever buy, but the last. With a promise like that how could I refuse?

Construction

Layers

GhostBed 11-Inch Latex and Gel Queen Memory Foam Mattress

This product consists of four layers, all made up of a different type of foam. The industry standard is three, so this was already a win for me. The first layer is 1” thick and made up of a quilted foam that’s sewn right into the cover. It improves airflow and helps to relieve pressure points. It also provides a luxurious feel.

The second layer is also 1” thick and made of lush foam. This is a gel memory base that provides the first layer of support and also helps keep the bed cool. The third layer is 3” thick and considered the transition layer. It’s made from medical grade cooling gel that’s embedded into the material.

This brings us to the last layer you’ll notice if you trial this product yourself. The fourth layer is 6” thick and made from high density materials. This serves as the main support for your bed and provides deep compression support.

Cover

The cover  is made from cotton. It also includes Tencel, a luxurious fabric that’s more absorbent than cotton and softer than silk. It’s also cooler than linen, aiding in the cooling technology you’re sure to notice.

Tuft & Needle Mattress

First Impression & Overnight Test (Firmness, Feel, & Support)

My first impression  was that it looked great on my bed frame without any linen. Once I got my bed set up, I took a seat on the edge of the bed to see how supportive the edges were. While they were still soft, as would be expected in a foam design, I didn’t feel like I was going to slide off. I sometimes find myself rolling towards the edge of the bed at night and wake up because my body notices shifting. But when this happened, I was still able to make myself comfortable.

The firmness  is medium to firm. It’s not rock hard but you won’t feel like you’re sinking into the bed either. Of course, firmness is affected by your weight so the heavier you are makes all the difference and supports all body types and weights.

Who Should Buy this Product?

If you’re a stomach sleeper, you might find the bed a bit too firm.  The design is great for back sleepers as it evenly distributes weight and provides pressure point relief. Side sleepers can still enjoy a good night's sleep even if it’s a little on the firm side. The additional layer helps the top layers conform to your body and support it from every angle.

Key Features

The possible biggest selling feature  is its extra-long trial period and extended warranty. I almost didn’t believe this  but the company really stands by their product. Their brand also features great cooling technology, quality materials, and superior customer service. For example, the company will replace your cover for free when you’re ready for one.
