When I came across several Hyphen mattress reviews that told just how amazing the product was, I knew I had to give it a go. The company began their journey by listening to the complaints of shoppers. They addressed issues like universal comfort, durability, and temperature control, all the while keeping production costs at a minimum and passing these savings onto consumers.
According to the surveys their product addresses the problems that other memory foam and latex mattresses have. There product provides proper support and reduces pressure points. They also help support muscle recovery and even improve blood circulation.
The results of the surveys got my attention and I’m sure these claims have sparked your interest as well. Join me and learn how this product can transform your sleeping experience for a price that you have to see to believe.
Based on reports I knew the design would come with three hand-crafted layers. The first is 2” thick and made of proprietary foam. It’s designed to provide universal comfort, monitor temperature, and isolate motion.
The second layer is also 2” thick and made of polyurethane transition foam. It gives just the right amount of bounce and helps evenly distribute weight across the entire sleeping surface.
The final layer is the base layer and made of 6” of durable polyurethane support foam. This foam is incredibly durable and allows the company to include an impressive 20-year warranty.
A feature mentioned in many of the reports is that the materials are all CertiPur certified. This means there’s no mercury, lead, formaldehyde, ozone depleters, or dangerous chemicals of any kind used in the product.
The cover is simple in design but still effective. It’s made from polyester and spandex. A feature noted in many of the reports is the fact that it has a zipper, making it easy to remove and wash when necessary.
First Impression & Overnight Test (Firmness, Feel, & Support)
Theproduct was easy to set up and I couldn’t wait to sleep on it. My first few minutes on the bed were spent taking note of how my body felt. My hips seemed cradled and my shoulders seemed supported. There was minimal sinkage but I still felt like I was sleeping into the bed a bit instead of just on top. I did notice that the edge support wasn’t the best but this shouldn’t be an issue if you sleep more towards the middle of your preferred position.
I loved how there was very little off gassing, even on the first night. I didn’t feel like I was breathing in toxic fumes. The company, along with many reviewers, claim that the model helps improve blood pressure and promote muscle healing. While I don’t have medical proof for either of these claims from my experience, I did notice that I was waking up more alert and refreshed. I found this to be a common claim in many customer test trials.
Sinkage, Motion Transfer, & Temperature
Based on several Hyphen mattress reviews, sinkage is minimal in the middle of the mattress. When you’re sleeping, you shouldn’t feel like you’re being sucked into the mattress. However, sinkage is more noticeable on the edges of the mattress.
One of the most positive features mentioned in Hyphen mattress reviews is that motion transfer was virtually nonexistent. This does mean there’s not much bounce to the mattress but based on several Hyphen mattress reviews, partners shouldn’t disturb each other.
Hyphen mattress reviews rave about the temperature control feature in this mattress and I have to agree. I slept cool every single night of my Hyphen mattress review.
Firmness and support
The Hyphen is designed to accommodate the majority of sleepers. It’s not overly soft or overly firm. If you’re not overly picky about the firmness level of your mattress, you’ll agree with most Hyphen mattress reviews and say that it’s very comfortable.
I read plenty of reports and surveys during, and after my own testing of the product. The main features that seemed to win over most consumers were focused on cooling. The product is infused with copper to draw away heat from your body. The design is also hypoallergenic and anti-microbial, a feature that was almost always mentioned by testers. This model is also designed to be universally comfortable. It’s not too soft or too firm, making it a great fit for all types of sleepers.
How Does It Compare?
Let’s take a look at some of the competition:
There are plenty of amazing designs on the market. But based on the views of testers, including my own, you won’t find a universally designed product that accommodates so many budgets like this one does.
My assessment results were similar to most other testers. I found the product to be great at absorbing motion and regulating temperature. The edge support wasn’t the best but it wasn’t terrible either. There was very little off gassing and the extended trial and warranty put me at ease. Reports on the product have led me to believe the product can withstand the test of time. If you’re looking for a hypoallergenic design that can keep you cool and comfortable for years to come, this product should be at the top of your list. Check out our other mattress reviews.
