The Best Dromma Bed Review On The Web

The Best Dromma Bed Review On The Web

Welcome to my Dromma Bed review. I was excited to try this company’s mattress because of its promise that it would be the best bed I ever slept on. The company has built their business around the fact that no one enjoys going to a department store and shopping for beds. So they’ve spent their time researching and developing a product that would make it possible to just order and sleep.

My report on this product included an impressive 200-night trial. This is double than most other bedding companies so you can rest assured d that you won’t be left with a sleeping surface you don’t love.

Stay tuned for my detailed assessment of this product.  I’ll be going over its construction, along with a list of pros and cons. You should know by the end of my report  if it’s a design you should consider yourself..

Construction

Layers

Live and Sleep Resort Ultra 12-Inch Full Size Gel Memory Foam Mattress

My trial period involved inspecting the three layers included with the product. The top layer is 1.5” thick and made of natural latex instead of synthetic, like many other companies use. This gives the bed a little bounce which is something most sleepers miss when sleeping on an all foam design.

The second layer is 2.5” thick and made from gel memory foam. This is the layer that cushions your entire body and makes you feel like you’re sleeping on a giant marshmallow.

The final layer is 8” thick. It’s made from polyfoam and provides the support needed for such a soft sleeping surface. All of these layers combined make the product an entire foot thick. This is one of the thickest designs you’ll come across.

Cover

I had to do some extra research for this product to learn more about the cover. I knew just from looking at it that it was comfortable. It’s hand sewn and made in North Carolina. You can easily remove it and clean it as needed.

First Impression & Overnight Test (Firmness, Feel, & Support)

On most sleeping surfaces, I find myself switching positions every few minutes to alleviate pressure and do my best to prevent the dreaded morning backache. But the first few minutes of my test run left me convinced that those days were over. I did sink quite a bit into the bed but this was heaven for me. I find most beds to be a tad too firm. My trial run showed me that they do make sleeping surfaces soft enough for my preferences.

Just because the design is soft doesn’t mean you’ll have to compromise on support. I found that all the right places in my body were supported but I didn’t notice a sharp or uncomfortable coil. The combination of latex and foam provided a great experience that I urge you to try for yourself.

The Best Dromma Bed Review On The Web – 2017

Our assessment of this product convinced us at Sleep Ask that the addition of latex can make all the difference in a sleeping surface. If foam just isn’t cutting it for you, it’s time to give this product a try.

Pros

  • Great motion absorption
  • Ideal for side sleepers
  • Extra thick
  • Regulates temperature
  • Mostly organic

Cons

  • Off gassing
  • Not for back or stomach sleepers

Who Should Buy this Product?

I would recommend this product mainly for side sleepers. You really sink into the bed which takes pressure away from your hips and thighs. While it could work for back and stomach sleepers, I found it to be a little too soft for these sleep positions. Also, if you’re looking for an organic design, this is pretty close without the higher costs associated with an all-natural designs. Finally, trial of this product convinced me that this is also a great option for anyone looking for cooling technology.

Key Features

The first physical feature you’ll notice is how thick the design  is. It’s hard to find anything as thick as this among the competition. Another key feature to keep in mind before considering this product is that the design includes natural latex instead of synthetic. This gives the bed a bit of a bounce without taking away from its contouring properties.

How Does It Compare?

Let’s take a look at some of the competition:

Live and Sleep Resort Ultra Gel Memory Foam

Here’s another ultra-thick design to choose from. It includes gel memory foam that cools and relieves pressure. You won’t toss and turn  in bed. It includes an impressive 20-year warranty and a free memory foam pillow.

Live and Sleep Resort Ultra 12-Inch Full Size Gel Memory Foam Mattress

Dreamfoam Bedding Dreams Latex

The Dreamfoam includes both latex and foam. It’s also available in several comfort levels which the company will personally help you decide between. It’s as close as you can get to a custom design without paying more than you have to.

Dreamfoam Bedding Queen Dreams Latex Mattress

Yogabed Luxury Memory Foam

With a name like Yogabed, how could it not be comfortable? The sleeping surface disperses weight evenly and prevents tossing and turning. It includes an unheard of 365-night trial and you’ll get two free Yogabed pillows with your purchase. The cover is also removable for easy cleaning.

It’s not impossible to find thick design or ones that include both foam and latex. But it’s hard to find one that combines them in such a perfect way as the product I trial tested.  changed my sleeping habits for good. If you’ve been looking for a combination design that can be described as soft instead of rock hard, it’s time to to give this product a test run of your own.

Verdict

My  experience left me a fan of this company's unique design. If you’ve always been a fan of innerspring  but want to make the switch to foam, this would be your best transitioning design to try. It’s great for pressure relief and allows you to sink into your bed. You’ll feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud every night. I urge you to take a look at this product if you’ve enjoyed what you’ve come across in my review. It’s a sleeping surface you have to experience to believe. Check out our other mattress reviews.
